We found our dream house and signed the purchase agreement, but then things got complicated, our first mortgage advisor was simply careless about applying for our mortgage asking a bunch of documents that were not needed, advisor that doesn't communicate and never answers your calls, it was clear that they were doing nothing for our application and just loosing our time, at that moment we were hopeless about the situation until by luck we found out about Finaforte, this was a real game changer. From the moment we called finaforte they took directly over and started working non stop on our application, Carmen and Gerard were in charge, great communication and they kept us informed about the whole procedure, we could contact Gerard via whatapp and he directly replies (evenings and weekends included) and Carmen is really good with the documents, she checks them regularly and she made sure that everything was in order. A bad experience for me, I spoke to 2 unfriendly advisors on the phone. They ended up telling me they cannot schedule me quickly for an appointment because I am a first-time buyer (first time I heard that!) but they did not offer to schedule me at all for an appointment at all. "I'm sorry we cannot help you" is how the call ended. I think they were just not interested in helping me.
